I see the Fresh Eyes series as a little mental cleanse. For the better part of this year, I have been working on developing a new style and it requires a different kind of focus and creativity from me. I'm more critical and thoughtful while creating which slows my pace and makes the process feel more laborious. Though I love this new path and the work required, I still need to stop, take a little breather, and do something that requires little critical thought. This series is just that. It taps into the comfort of muscle memory and familiarity.
