Remnants:  

Sometimes, destruction is a necessary part of creation. There are moments my art simply doesn’t work and it’s destined to be discarded entirely. Other times, my art calls for transformation. To be pulled from my dud pile and edited, trimmed, or cut into something new. This work belongs to the latter destructive process. This is a portion of what was once a much larger piece, reimagined and given new life as an isolated remnant.
